Audiobooks app?
The app was developed to make listening to audio books even more convenient. The pace of modern life gets faster not giving a chance to slow down to figure out what to do in a delicate situation. Everything that is so important for modern life was taken into account. Easy and user-friendly interface allows enjoying listening to audiobooks without getting into technical details or bothering with navigation. Specific attention was paid to developing the player’s design since it was the main control tool. Thanks to orchestrated work of all functions the user can switch between chapters, pause listening and return to the right chapter. The lightweight modern design gives a special aesthetic pleasure to using the app. Therefore, it can be considered one of the best in this area.
Design challenges
The main goal dealt with not only developing a beautiful shell, but to develop an application interface that would combine convenience with user friendly modern design. It was important to design the covers and the navigation following one style to make the app intuitive for all age categories. The three aspects were especially important for me in development work: to ensure user friendliness, lightweight design and to set up a logic catalog system. Every aspect was scrupulously developed in a customized manner. This made it possible to cope with all tasks perfectly and give users the opportunity to fully enjoy working with the application.
• Convenience
This aspect is highly important in developing an application, since it is most crucial for all users. No wonder that applications having complex interfaces are often left unattended since ease of use is of ultimate importance for users.
• Ease of design
Lightweight design was also important. As the saying goes, clothes do not make the man. Speaking of apps, a nice picture is important to catch attention but unnecessary elements should be avoided. This is exactly what a user needs to get hands-on experience for the first time.
• An elaborate directory system
The last but not the least was the system catalog structure. This is required to avoid users getting confused about bookmarks and come across straight to the function allowing app navigation.
A special attention was paid to design elements when the app was under development. Each element and its application should be carefully thought through. It was important to link them together, to create a single concept that would resonate with users making the whole application image. It should always remain attractive and user friendly. Loose design elements are usually repelling; they generate the feeling of overload. For us the ease of work was of ultimate importance.
Simple solutions
Many people are fond of books, but finding time to read is a real issue. That’s where the apps allowing listening to audiobooks are especially helpful. It proves to be a great alternative in the face of time constraints and accelerated pace of modern life. These apps help us enjoy our favorite books while engaged in other activities. For example, you can listen to a chapter or two on your way to the office or working out in a gym.
Due to these applications becoming quite in demand, it was necessary to develop something unique and differing from the competition. The design of the entire app was entirely developed using Figma. The primary goal was to create a unique system of element bundles and develop their logical sequence without losing the user-friendly feature of the application. This saves the user time distinguishing the app from the competition which often neglects this point resulting in pretty difficult navigation.
Mesmerizing interactivity
I already mentioned that shell is extremely important.. The app should be appealing to users. It’s nice when it literally fascinates and when all the elements work in an orchestrated manner. In case they respond in a dialogue way you get the best of aesthetic pleasure. All these points were taken into account in developing the application and the final product was quite solid.
The use of interactivity elements made it possible to resolve the task in the most elegant manner. This feature was implemented in the application using wandering animation. It is eye-catching and makes the app quite interesting. Application of the Paralax effect made the app highly realistic.
A whole world of
books in one store
Another important point to be addressed in developing the app deals with setting up a convent store making a whole huge world worth exploring over and over again. The convenience of the store is just as important as the convenience of the app itself. After all, in order to choose a book the user will start with visiting the store section . Everything here is hinged on design style and structure.
Importantly, in this application all covers have the same style which allows sticking to the chosen concept. Incredibly enjoyable navigation delivers a sense of travel through the world of literature. It is very exciting and enjoyable to discover new aspects in this area. Even the most picky user will be satisfied, because of the feeling of complete immersion into the realm of book adventures.
Element design
Stylish and trendy design is popular among users. It is important that the whole set of icons maintained the same style having an unobtrusive design. It is better when all the buttons and sections share the same concept and there is no conflict between them. The application met the intent I had. Each button was thought out to the minute detail to correspond to the overall style of the site. Now each section has its own color palette making work with the app even more enjoyable.
To sum up, I wish to maintain that I invested a part of my soul into the app design and I did everything possible to make the app as enjoyable as possible for any user. After all, it is priceless to combine in one application all things that would echo with the majority of users. Indeed, the application turned out to be incredibly lightweight, friendly and intuitive in operations. It was possible to pay attention to every aspect and to every detail to make using this app with the ultimate joy.
